VI. Istanbul
Bridge Conference
The Sixth Istanbul Bridge Conference (iBridge2024) was held in Istanbul Hyatt Regency Atakoy on September 06–08, 2024. Like its predecessors, iBridge 2024 provided a continued discussion platform to develop safe, sustainable and economically feasible solutions in bridge research, design and construction worldwide.

Seismic Testing
A 12-meter steel girder / reinforced concrete deck bridge was tested under six different seismic and harmonic loadings, both empty and loaded with a car. The six harmonic motions were used to compute the bridge's resonant frequencies. A one-ton vehicle reduced the seismic response of the 20-ton superstructure by 20%. Super- and sub-structure isolation was provided by bearings.
